Designed by Kushiaana, a UK-based illustrator who uses design to explore and reflect on her British Punjabi heritage and its influence on identity and self-expression. Kush says, “I really wanted a bold illustration that showcased Diwali in a joyful, fun and contemporary light, whilst still paying homage to the traditional imagery of the festival. I wanted to show birds flying and transforming into lotus flowers, creating a never ending circle. To me they signify freedom, growth and reflection.”

Lush Knot Wraps are a reusable and easy peasy wrapping alternative to gift papers, made from either organic cotton or recycled polyester. They come in a variety of colours, designs and sizes! This Knot Wrap is made from 100% organic cotton. The cotton is grown and ginned in Madhya Pradesh, India, before being sent further south to Tamil Nadu where it is spun and woven. The fabric is then screen printed by artisans at a traditional sari printer where colours are matched by eye by an ink mixing master. All inks used are certified to be free of SVHCs (Substances of Very High Concern). The Knot Wraps are then finally sewn by a proprietorship with a social cause, supporting the artisan community and empowering women. This Knot Wrap is designed to be used over and over again, to replace gift wrap, wrap your packed lunch, or even as a head wrap.
