On Día de Muertos the celestial hummingbird follows fragrant paths to ofrendas, carrying messages from loved ones. Sweet rose oil and hints of ripe berry notes hum across the skin in a flight of florals, softness and remembrance.

Co-Create is a product creation programme for Lush staff, aiming to promote diversity, inclusion, equity and belonging by lifting up authentic stories from respective communities. Co-Creator Diego Cruz Rodriguez shares his inspiration for this Día de Muertos product:

"Aliento del Colibrí is a shower gel inspired by a well-known belief in Mexican culture: that hummingbirds carry messages from the dead to the living. When a hummingbird appears, it is said to bring love, thoughts or words left unsaid — a quiet sign that those who have passed are still present. During Día de Muertos, remembrance is filled with colour and scent. Altars are covered with flowers chosen not only for their beauty, but for their fragrance — meant to guide, welcome and honour returning souls. This product pays tribute to those floral offerings and the messages they carry."
