Eucalyptus is famously favoured by koala bears and cold sufferers alike, but let it be known that this refreshing essential oil also has great properties for your skin.

The Eucalyptus genus is made up of over 660 species of shrubs and trees of the Myrtaceae family, native to Australia and other nearby islands. Eucalypti are commonly known as gum trees and can reach up to 90m, with bluish bark and leaves covered in oil-bearing glands that maintain a blue shade until they mature into a yellowish hue.

Eucalyptus may also help support the skin barrier and help retain moisture, making it suitable for dry skin.
